The Page and Pen Bindery

Welcome to The Page and Pen, the book binding workshop of The Cart at the Crossroads. Here, you will find an assortment of beautifully crafted hand bound books. Each tome is made by hand from start to finish, using traditional materials and historic bookbinding methods. Among our collection are both full leather bound books which range from the simple to the ornate with raised designs and embellishments, and 19th Century Library Bindings which feature Quarter, Half, and Three Quarter Leather bindings. Included among the Library Bindings is The Witch series; a collection of Half Leather bindings that feature a work of Occult art on the front cover, highlighting some of the beautiful pieces that inspire our craft. 

What is a book without something write with? In addition to our blank books, The Page and Pen also specializes in small batch Botanical Inks. Ranging from the bright and fresh hues of berries and roots, to the dark and rich medieval recipes of Iron Gall and Dragons Blood, our inks take well to the paper in our books and work best with dip pens, quills, and even some fountain pens.
